This thread keeps getting more racist, and it started out high on the scale.

The rules are stupid

Every fishing sector is guilty of by catch related mortality

I am guilty of throwing out old frozen fish
 
That is just sick and criminal. The people who did this clearly do not respect the fish and our special resource. I don't know or care which "group" is responsible for this. The bottom line is waste of this magnitude shows very little respect for our fishery.

Cameras should be operational else no fishing , BY catch goes to allocation , but penalised at dock . That way accidental by catch is not rewarded.. as with Alaska crab etc.
