crabbing in quadra island

Hello,

Eyeing crabbing activities on quadra island. Have a 13 foot inflatable with 35 hp engine so dont intend to go far offshore. Camping at We Wai Kai campsite. Any suggestion where good spots are for crabbing? Thanks.

could try east end of gowland harbour - overfished but you should get a few.

Hey jack!! I am in spot 145 til sat!!you have to go and try across drew harbour.. Open bay.. Hyacynthe.. And any of the weedy bottom bays along the north east side. Names blair.. Stop by.. I am either nappin or playin with the kiddies.. A week off from fishn..

Lawman, last time I crabed there, found an unopened can of beer in the trap when I
pulled it up.
Gates were all tied open. Hopefully, whoever lived near there, has moved?

Red rocks all over the west bay between the achor area and taku.. Dungees hard to get in that area..

thanks for the tip. Trophywife, decided not to go after some feedback abt crabbing. Will head to Nanaimo instead and just camp. Thanks everyone. Have a good weekend. I know I will.
