I noticed some new hooks at Crappy Tire the other day. They now carry circle hooks as well as a hook which has a double bend in the shank. Is anyone using these type?
The manufactures name is Matzuo. The best I can describe is starting from the eye,coming halfway down the shank it bends 45 degrees then where you would normaly have the curve to the point it takes another 45. They are barbless.
they're called sickle hooks and they work awsome, in the begining when they first came out the point would break pretty often but they've made them alot better.
