We are considering launching at China Creek to avoid the river gill nets, etc, and running to Bamfield. What's the road like to China Creek? Is there good parking for trucks/trailers?

The launch is awesome. The road is paved most of the way then about 15 minutes of hell then paved again. I highly suggest it over the downtown launch. Your vehicle is safe there and the run is that much shorter. Great people and facility.
