Changing a carbed engine over to EFI

I have a 99 26ft Bayliner with a 350 2bbl engine. I'm wondering if anyone on here has switched the same engine over to EFI? Did they get better fuel mileage? What about power increase or decrease? Who sells a kit for this? Any other information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Save the cash, it's been running fine since you got it, you will never get your money back and very little performance gains.

I would think you could get a throttle body injection setup or a tuned port injection system pretty cheap from the wreckers. You would need to also upgrade your fuel pump system.

The throttle body system would be cheap. But how are you actually going to make it run? Change the computer. Then all the sensors that you do not have and can not add to a wet exhaust. The heartache will not be worth the small savings in fuel.
