Cermaq Canada heads to court to challenge denial of permit to transfer young salmon

Fish-farming company Cermaq Canada has gone to federal court to challenge the denial of a transfer permit that would have permitted it to grow young Atlantic salmon in two farms in the Discovery Islands.

Gotta keep those investors and shareholders from bailing @ all costs, John. No matter the risks and impacts to their market competition - wild salmon. In fact, it works better that way for them. Less competition.

But - they're good corporate citizens - right? Just read the glossy brochures their PR departments produce. That's all one needs to know, apparently.
