Calls for new Fisheries Minister to "just do your job"

Well this is rather interesting reading. As some will recall, there is more than a little controversy over a group of rich American business owners who parked their executive Lear Jets in Terrace, and wandered off to fish a closed to fishing Ecstall River to do what they called "scientific research." Skirting rules designed to protect threatened chinook stocks...and now the Minister is being called out for not taking the time to investigate and come to Terrace to actually meet local people there and hear their concerns over the impacts to a fishery that is struggling.
