Buoy Weather Failed me on Storm #2

I think there has been some difficulty forecasting these storms and I made the mistake of only looking at the buoy weather forecast and it was only calling for 30 kn so I was not so concerned. Turns out Tofino got hammered hard with 50 kn winds.
Im disappointed with buoy weather for this.

Victoria got a little puff but for the most part was fine. I've found most marine weather forecasting sources to be having a really bad few months. Environment Canada has been over estimating just about every system this fall.

Bellingham and Portland Radio weather all saying big wind too. I think it just changed at the last moment and stayed out at sea. Agree the track record has been poor lately.
