Any guesses as to how much insurance should cost for a 1977 17' boston whaler with a 2003 50hp tiller Merc, 2007 4hp kicker and $2000 worth of other gear?

I paid 6g's for the boat, motors and trailer.
Mostly worried about theft, fire, and 3rd person liability.

My only quote so far is $350.

Thanks for any advice or suggestions for solid insurers.

beacon is good, that rate seems accurate... or cheap enough:]

tubber hands down Dolphin insurance! they blow away any other competitor. I have a 2007 boat, trailer, insured worth 25g's and I pay 500 even a year. The last owner paid 650!!

Give 'em a call and tight lines!

Seems about right. Small boats in general pay more because they have the highest rate of theft.
