Subject: FN0976-Recreational Salmon: Region 1 - Big Qualicum River
Effective immediately until March 31, 2013 the retention limit for coho is 4
wild or hatchery per day, 2 of which may be hatchery marked over 35 cm in the
waters upstream of the Big Qualicum Hatchery. Downstream of the hatchery to the
tidal waters of the Qualicum River remains closed.
