Best spin set up for trout

What’s a good spin rod reel combo you guys would recommend for trout . Have some old gear from when I was a kid that’s falling apart but want to get into it again. Salt water gear might be collecting dust for a while but want to get out and enjoy some angling.

A little 6’ ugly stik combo from canadian tire will do the job. Usually about $75. Toss on some 8lb mono, and you’re good to go.

FYI my local tackle shop (Highwater in NVan) has (or had...check inventory due to COVID demand) some surprisingly good Daiwa combo kits for cheap. I got a nice 6ft rod with reel and 6lb mono for $35+tax last year in April. It's great for kids and at that price I don't worry about abuse/breakage
