Best Riding 18-19 Ft Welded Aluminum Boat?

I will throw another, fairly recent builder into the mix, Jasper Marine in Gibsons. I don’t have tons of experience with welded aluminum boats but I have been in Alumawelds, Hewes, Thunderjets and other ‘locally built’ boats. I have an Orca-2 (with the LC18 T top) on order through Jasper Marine. They are doing some pretty amazing and creative things...

This boat just blew me away so for me it was a no brainer... a must have... different... what I was searching for... just a fwiw. The other thing for me is I am really trying to buy Canadian / locally built. This whole thing with Trump (love him or hate him - I will leave that up to you) makes tariff costs a consideration. Jasper is fairly close to me and that’s worth something (to me too).

I had a look at those boats and I'd be shocked if that bottom design gave a very good ride, just sayin'...looks like a pretty flat deadrise/bow entry.
