I have a 20’ Grady. Can trim tabs be to big?

You can use too much tab for a given condition, like a following sea, but otherwise probably not possible to be too big until they are ridiculous clown shoe size.

If they fit, go with the biggest tabs recommended by a vendor's chart and maybe even one size bigger.

Also mount tabs as far out to the side (I think 3" from edge is Bennett's recommendation) and as far back for maximum effect.

I would recommend a pursuit for a smooth, comfortable ride. Our 2002 2470 walkaround has a very smooth ride in the chop off Nanaimo and also in the bigger west coast swells. The self bailing deck is another great feature that gives you piece of mind in rough water.
