bearing buddies

May be a dumb question but, how do you get your bearing buddies off the trailer hub ?
They seem to be pressure fitted, so a knock with a rubber mallet or is there a better way ?

A gentle tap with a hammer all the way around is how I get mine off.......

Thanks SS, didn't want to wreck them while trying to take them off.

I use a rubber mallet so I don't scar the finish.

I use an old hatchet. Place the blade between the hub and bearing buddy and tap gently with a mallet. When the buddy starts to separate, hit it with just the mallet, rotating the hub at the same time. This is just a little more gentle way to get them off as it works them off a little at a time and evenly.
