Bathtub race boat mold?

Im trying to source molds for a tub.. Anyone have a lead on one?

There's one on Craigslist ( a boat not a mold). Make your own?

Our company has the same hull as the one for sale on Craigslist. It works well the one for sale is in rough shape but cheap. I think they want $150 and we paid $3000 for ours

Thanks guys. I saw that one... But I've got 6 gallons of epoxy, three rolls of cloth and lots of core material kicking around that I want to make use of.

Funny story about the bathtub race. Back in the early 80's I was commercial fisherman and a heavyduty marine mechanic. The shop I worked at decided we would enter the race so we processed to build a tub. Being herring fishermen we thought we would go with the herring skiff design. The welding shop next door built us a hull, we molded a fiberglass tub and filled it with 2part foam and glassed over that. All in all a very stable craft, but it had some weight to it. Found an old 6 hp merc and rebuilt it to perfection. We get to the race and it takes 2of us the carry the tub to the water( it was 130 #s and another to carry the motor. we knew we were in trouble when we saw a young girl about 22 carrying her tub under one arm and her motor under the other . It was a fun time and we did come second.............from last.
