Just pulled the boat out after 2 1/2 months and she was just covered. Do not remember such a problem last year. Does anyone have another method other than scrape,powerwash,3M pad dance?

12 percent bleach - available at most fuel docks. SUPER strong stuff, so be bloody CAREFUL! Load into a squirter bottle, wear a mask, don't get any on your skin nor clothing. Hose down the hull, wait 15 or so minutes, then rinse the problem away.

The barnacles seem to be bad this year. I just had to have my drive overhauled because some barnacles ended up in the water intake and cut down the cooling. Those were expensive barnacles!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to cut down barnacles in the cooling on a stern drive?
