Barkley Sound vs Campbell River

My son's birthday is this week and he has asked to go fishing. I can go to either Barkley Sound or Campbell River (Brown Bay).
How is each area producing right now?

There haven't been any reports from Campbell River lately and from what I've heard the sound is spotty, including offshore...
