Hey folks.

Trying to buy a pair of wading boots from a fellow in Nanaimo. Would normally ship them but the boots are inexpensive and heavy, so shipping may cost the same as the boots. I am in Burnaby but work in Vancouver.

Anyone coming over in the next little while? A case of beer will be waiting on this side for you. (I understand that is the preferred medium of exchange for boaters/fishermen.......)

Just a suggestion if you haven't found anyone. Give Harbour Air a call. I have taken stuff to them a few times (from letters to boxes) and it flies out within minutes of drop off ( Downtown Coal Harbour or YVR....and arrives on other side 20 mintes later ( Nanaimo port). Harbour Air has just recently increased their price structure so may be too high cost now if heavy but I think my chartplotter for example was $10 to fly one way. A case of beer is at least double that! lol
