Hey guys. Looking for some help on a reel issue. I have a trend tmx4 that I've been pretty happy with - until last night. I was pulling my gear up and all of a sudden my reel was no longer attached to my rod. The little screws that hold the reel seat onto the rod pulled right through the aluminum arbour....leaving me with a pretty useless combo of rod (with reel seat still attached) in one hand and reel (with no seat) in the other. I can't rescrew it, as the holes are now too big.
I'm pretty easy on my gear, so was surprised at how this just came apart. I have had the reel for about 2 years. Can't find a receipt anywhere. I would hope amundson would stand behind their product on this type of defect. Anyone know who I might talk to on this? Anyone had similar problems?
Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated. I'm on gabriola, but get to Nanaimo very often
