hi Sculpin
yep been running 3 of med's power's now for a while since the boat show
for a $90 rod there not to bad but would like to see a few changes
which i'll send my feedback back to amundson
there tip eye is to small can get clogged due to the algae we get in the water here in the straight
the reel seat should be a metal one along with the locking ring feature which they have now but a compitste version have a feeling this may be a weak point
and a hook keeper would have be nice addition
i know it puts a bit more expense on a rod but it would have been a better rod for it....
as to being able to do the duties with the springs just look at the nice 23lber i had in the 2013 van reports
that was using the savvy rod
