In this video, AlexTalks#4 I present what the three leading political parties in British Columbia are saying about salmon feedlots. All the statements are highly significant because they recognize there is a serious problem with salmon feedlots on wild salmon migration routes.
Please communicate with your candidates to support them in this. Make no mistake, the Norwegian salmon feedlot corporations operating in BC are a powerful and aggressive lobby. There is no evidence they are good for the BC economy, because of their of their conflict with the much larger fishing and tourism industry and potential for enormous impact on rights of First Nations to nourish themselves on wild salmon.
