interesting story behind this is that they were inspired to do this after an incident in 1987 when a salmon was dropped by an eagle into the intake of a 737 on takeoff. Salmon affect us is so many ways.

Thanks for posting that vid...just saw a drawing of that plane yesterday in Alaska Air cargo office....i was shipping all my camping gear to Alaska for a steelhead trip i'm taking next week...I was thinking how cool it would be to be a passenger in that painted up plane flying back up to the promised land ....62,000 feet of masking tape...wow!
