Ace Line Hauler Goes Hands Free

My old Dualler Plate had a rubber Oring but not my Ace and it works great without it. Maybe it came with later models. I had my Bulldog months before it came out in stores. Maybe it was added afterwards.

Hockey tape works wonders on gripping rope. Just sayin'.

The large rubber o ring comes with the bulldog kit, also comes with a handful of washers for spacers IF needed, I believe it states o ring not ness if using 1/4" ropes
I just chucked the install instructions or I could be more helpful

Why don't you contact Ace in Nanaimo. I'm sure they would provide you with an o ring. Great service there. Just slip it on. Works wonders.

I like your style .
LOL, I guess I should rephrase that,
they were laying on my bench and I no longer needed them LOL
but ya John wouldn't be the first time I failed to read the instructions or asked for Directions
I do it to bug the wife or so I'm told ;)

next trip out I'm going to pull the oring off and see if that eliminates the issue of the oring balling up and line slippage

either way that hands free is awesome.. didn't even have to put down my beverage... after using it i don't think i will even take my ace out again until it is fitted with one...
