What a cute little brain fart that was, eh? So sporties are typically greedy when it comes to fish? Hmm, what do you think how much money an angler spends per fish caught on average? $100? $150? And you want to tell anyone here that is GREEDY? I'd call that generous!

Same goes with closed containment at this time. It just is not going to happen.

You know why? Because ethical practices are not enforced by law and the government in this country (shamefully) and the fish farm mafia has no interest in doing the right thing if not forced to. You want another example of the same category? Canada mining and selling asbestos for profit whereas the entire developed world has banned it and declared it dangerous. Again, shame on Canada!

And spending $50000 to get a trophy animal....what do you call that? I do take very seriously the revenue generated by the sport fishing industry for canada and I do the same for salmon farming. This revenue is important all of it.

You guys keep trying to claim the moral high ground. This, when you keep up your barrage of self-serving assertions that salmon feed lot owners (you are NOT farmers), that, in effect, assure us you have god like powers and insight to understand, track and monitor all the possible environmental and ecological effects of your industry.

To assume such arrogance and hubris shows clearly you have no idea of the complexity of the millions of interactions that take place in the natural world which are honed by millions of years of evolution. Instead you are willing violate hundreds of natural checks and balances that are present, and to put at risk the wild salmon runs and all of BC coastal environment, just for you own gain.
Such hypocrisy!! Yet it is only to be expected from the fish feed lot industry.....
