For you guys thinking of hopping across, spent a couple hours this afternoon in the spoil grounds and then in tighter to neck point, very weedy out on the bumps. Lots of 60-65 cm fish couldn’t keep 2 rods down. Herring look to be moving in to the area. Fished spoons 135-183 action all over, there’s defiantly some keepers in the mix. Was more of a boat ride then a fishing trip

Four fish at the bell today 9-2pm, the biggest was 72cm and and had a 5” herring in its belly, the rest released. All on 3”spoons, no action on hoochies or plugs. 140-180feet about 20’ from bottom. Ideal condition and about 20 boats out. Saw a few other nets out.

Fished the bell, all day grind. Found big bait farther west and enjoyed a 15 minute rodeo solo with this red. 4" spoon, I think its a coyote herring pattern with the little chrome spinner on it,( found it in a log jam on the vedder) 150 fow 150 on the rigger. This guy also had a 5" half digested fish? on board. No keeper crabs from jerico wonder if its fished out?

Made 36 kts on the run over to thrasher this morning , best conditions I’ve fished in years , two shorts so far in about 30 mins
This is that one time, maybe it happens twice a year maaaybe. When the SOG and the Juanda is nice at the same time. Storm must be coming
