Slow day in Howe Sound.

Couple days ago buddy at hump, green and white 75' released 8 kept 2

I got 6 undersized ...largest was 58 cms was fun cause he tangled up on the other line
Going out tomorrow and maybe get a couple of keepers

Some fish were caught in some of the previous posts. Sounding pretty good

Hooked a couple nice fish off the Bell today. Saw a couple others taken also.

I could not have been more live.

Finished the day with one in the box and 4 scrappy undersize. Fished mainly between the hump and Bowen. We had to go over to Gibson for oil so we made a couple passes through tunstall for lunch and one undersized... The keeper was first thing in the morn at the south east side of Bowen. Boats were scattered everywhere. Nice day out. Lot nicer than last saturday!

I think when you rolled in you were to our stern and when we trolled over the hump you guys followed the north contour?

We landed a trophy fish, by my standards, around 10am. On a coho killer @ 90ft.
In the classic 25ft Bertram if anyone is around me.

Hacent dragged bottom for a few weeks. They are up. Been hitting them at 50ft even

Heading out to the hump tommorow in the old mans 37footer. Might tuck in closer make a few passes from cowen to cape Curtis. You guys still bottom bouncing or is that bait coming up? Only been out once this year over a month ago. Will report after cheers.

The bulk of our action at the Hump was at 77' and 88'....Paul Coffey and Lindros.

Update: 29.6lb white spring. Loaded with tiny silver fish 2" long. Not sure what they are maybe someone can advise?

Sure would be interesting to know where that one was heading. My guess would be an early Fraser Spring. was it a Red?
