2 books I recommend

I am a avid reader on the subject of our current salmon crysis (actually it is not that new). I recommend the following 2 books to anyone that wants to do some research. Be prepared to be fully disgusted by what you read (Mifflin plan etc). If any of you are interested they are both very good. Also if anyone else has a suggestion I would love to hear it. My two are:
Dead Reckoning:Crysis in the pacific fishery. Terry Glavin
Salmon Wars Dennis Brown

Geezuz Barbender...

If only we could find a way to channel some of this boundless energy and curiosity you profess away from promulgating the salmon farmers to actually working/helping to get our Dick-Head govmn't working to save wild Pacific salmon.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist; I know how it feels having a '0' in the 'Replies' column...)

Here's another good book you should read.

The indian history of British Columbia:
Volume 1 The impact of the white man.

Anthropology in British Columbia, Memoir No.5
Royal British Columbia Museum.

Take only what you need.
