up for sale is my old 1996 Johnson 60hp. 20” leg. It’s the commercial model with the large gear case. Leg is in perfect shape, motor just won’t pop off. Have spark, fuel, timing.....so that leaves one thing. My mechanic is thinking crank case seal. Motor has served me well for 20+ years but decided she wouldn’t fire after my last trip out. Has been retrofitted with a standard fuel pump when the VRO started over oiling premixed with synthetic oil 50:1 forever. $500 obo. Could be an easy fix but I’m not spending anytime investigating. Purchased a brand new motor because it’s fishing season and there is not time to waste! Last year the compression test was 145psi on all three. Dead even.
