Hi there, Need to replace windlass on boat (21' Hourston). Bruce anchor with full chain rode. The old windlass has the vertical capstan type setup. Question: what is the capstan for, wrapping rope before chain comes in? Is it pointless to have one with a full chain rode? Just trying to...
