Perhaps when the engines were called Mercury at first when they were clearly Yamahas had something to do with a perceived lack of maintenance. Perhaps.

Yeah. The guy is going through some tough **** right now, and the wife posted the ad and made the brand error.
The oil is showing as vert dirty and there is metal shavings in the gearcase on the main. also water in the kicker oil and apparently it wont start.
Lots of corrosion too apparently.

No description of main power, can’t tell in the pics but even if it’s a 225 efi it’s not a bad deal. If it’s a mercaha or a verado it’s a steal...

that trailer looks a little strange. The ball to winch distance is 10 feet plus. Don’t get that.

Yeah, usually you see a boat on a trailer that's two sizes too small...in this case the trailer looks pretty long and not well adjusted, but it's hard to know with only one lousy pic.

I have seen this in places where the launch ramp is not well designed for the tides, it allows a truck to launch a boat further into the deep water without submerging the vehicle. If you live close to your launch ramp, not a big deal. A long haul to a destination might not be the best idea.

I hear ya, but, it’d be a mother to haul on the Island Hwy. A candidate for a sway accident if hit by a bow wave. Poorly balanced trailers tow vehicles worry me. I speak from one bad experience that I learned from.
