Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Yup, seems like a sideways move would end up costing me 100k minimum. That's at least one more bill from Inlet. And almost none of those options have outboards. Kind of makes me do the backwards math of being 300k into a commander with brand new power isn't that far fetched.
Unfortunately

@kaelc can opine on the Honda quality, however this might be a good buy for someone. Aluminum dual axel trailer, T top.

I don't have experience with that engine but it looks to be Fuel Injected if it's a 2002. Also the 135 that came out a couple of years later was "much" better from a PR standpoint and is one I love, I have the 150hp version which has the same block. https://hondanews.com/en-US/honda-m...clusive-designs-make-135-hp-engine-unbeatable

Any boat with a 6+ year old engine needs to be priced with the cost of a replacement power plant in mind, regardless of hours, but I would take that Honda over a 2 stroke.

IMHO a 6 year old engine is barely broken in and could run for 15 more years with proper maintenance. My last Yamaha 4 stroke was 20 years old when I sold it on my Campion, with 1000 hours, carbureted and still running strong. A buddy had 1999 Honda 130hp outboards with over 4000 hours on them before he replaced them.

Great feedback on the 130hp, I think that is the same era, not sure if 1999 was fuel-injected or carb. I hope they are all as long-lasting, but my brother just had a low-hour 2018 Yamaha 6hp go on him, right after coming back from the mechanic and my Honda 150 is still going strong with 1200 hours or so. I just wouldn't advise anyone to overpay for used power that is off warranty thinking it will last forever.

All power I/o or outboard can go boom at any moment on a boat, just a fact.some last longer but they all go boom at one point
