What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

More than a weeks work here.
Lifted motor to replace aluminum trim on transom.
Moved kicker from Stbd. to Port side.
Removed helm sleeper and replaced with Tempress and pedestal.
Replaced old steering wheel.
Complete rewire w/ACR add a battery system.
Added a Genius 2 bank charger.
Made fish box for center hatch (fiberglass).
Replaced dash panel, covered in carbon fiber vinyl.
The rewire was a long battle because I have a torn rotator cuff, being fixed in 2 weeks,so very painful reaching and fastening wiring.
Giving you an “A” for cleanliness and order. I thought only I had that affliction. You can fish with me anytime.

Forgot the Starboard rigging table and I thought you might like to see the stainless steel kicker bracket I removed, has to weigh at least 30 lbs.Original owner made or had made,it's a beauty, taking offers. :)

Nice work! I love a tidy boat.
I wish my wiring looked like that. On my list of things to do. But I think I will be paying someone to do it.

Thanks,if I'd known how much it all would cost and hours spent ,I'd have to think about it real hard before doing a rewire again. All things "marine" are expensive including cables, wires, fuse panels(2),breakers, switch panels etc.The charger is money well spent I think for under $200.I estimated about $500 to do the job and it was close to $1000 in materials alone.Kept me busy for a long time and I learned a lot, which is a plus these days.

Hey Rayvon that DE is gleaming clean! When I got my DE, previous owner had mounted the chart plotter on the thru window step in the same location. I moved it over onto a flexible mount from the dash face so it sits tight under the window, which I find is a much improved location.

oil&filter, fuel filters, leg oil, all stuff i could do myself but , when we bought our merc 60 they (well know island merc dealer) never configured the gauge for me to read the hrs, display the oil n water temps. The good folks at Inamarine sorted me out and now i have all the engine display features working on the home screen, Anyways all sorted and ready to rock for the season, piece of mind is a good thing. 83.8 hrs on the boat 70 hrs at troll speed, starting to thing a tiny kicker might not be a bad idea , gunna mull it over for awhile.

I've been thinking about making a table like this. Excellent work! Please could you describe/post pictures of the mounting? Is it permanent or designed to be removed and stowed when not in use?

The tables I've done for other boats have all been removable to allow main to tilt fully. The Malibu has enough room in front of the main when tilted to be fastened permanently, but I haven't decided yet on how to do it.I'm still thinking it would be good to have it removable with Perko hatch pull down latches. They are stupid expensive,so I'm looking for cheaper alternatives.

I did think of that, but I don't think I'll use the walk-through windshield much if at all and there's still enough room for a foot beside it,so it will work for me.It's a Malibu Tyee ,virtual copy of the DE 17.

I built a table for my dads Malibu. Like you said. It has to be removable. I just used 2 flush mount Scotty’s and turned some aluminum down to be a precise fit.
