Pretty cool to watch it as it moves and how wind can be at 2kts in the eye of the storm and nearly 40kts around the perimeter. 40kt winds and seas well over 6-meters at 11 seconds doesn't sound like any fun at all!!

Like windy TV, great site for JDF wind. But sorry don't need windy TV right now to tell me how rough it is. Im aproximatly 700km SW from Vancouver Island and yes its dam lumpy. Not nice but heading home, its been 6 weeks.

When I was a much younger man and a hard-core surfer living at Jordan River it was October storms that I lived for.

Lots of fun.

11 seconds is a pretty short period though.

Much better when it's 18 seconds or so.
