which lake?

I am going to be going fishing soon for bass.
I am wondering if you guys have had any success fishing Laxton lake or fish trap creek
I hear Fish Trap Creek is good with topwaters but i would like some advice i which one i should go to and your succes there and any other of your stories.

Mainland lakes right?
I hear Fishtrap is topwater heaven but only due to being able to fish it from shore and it's weedy as heck.
Pretty early for topwater tho. Texas rigged worm would work better.

yes early for topwater but still might giver a try ...mix it up a little. i will be riggin a worm topwater and maybe a jig since craws are gunna be starting to come out but might not use it.
