Needs to be the 3.0L drive ratio.....1.98

call Garret at Garrets Marine in Qualicum 250 752 1684, he might have a unit around,alternate option is to check out the sterndrive international website, they make an aftermarket drive way cheaper than Merc and a 3 year no fault warranty, I put one on my last boat and it was still going strong when I got rid of the boat

Hey Rock, It would be a little fiddly, but i have a volvo penta sx set up for a 3.0L available... I recently looked at mating a merc 3.0L motor to it, but decided to pull it all and pod the boat instead.
