My EZ Loader double axle trailer with disc breaks and oil bath hubs is getting kicked out of the garage and parked somewhere on grass or gravel while the boat is in a slip for the summer (now thru sept).
I need to do whatever I can to lessen the impact of the elements — particularly moisture, so I was thinking I would put down some sort of vapor barrier to keep evaporation away from the brakes as much as possible and also cover the tires with a tarp or something to slow the effects of sun exposure and rust on the brakes and lines.
For those who park trailers outside, what are your best tips for beating the elements? Also curious what types of cover materials and parking surfaces you settled on.
