Could anyone tell me if it is worthwhile trying for Prawns in Brentwood Bay this time of year?

I recently heard from a friend that it's pretty slow in Saanich Inlet these days. The commercial guys just finished less
than a month ago and I'm sure they cleaned er up good! I myself won't be bothering to try it until Sept.-Oct. at
the earliest. Waste of time and effort pulling traps for 10-15 prawns IMHO.

Don't know re that area, but generally you can do ok in summer if you can find small pockets of 350-300 ft water where the commercials didn't bother setting.
