painting cannonballs

Is there a paint made that will stick to led?I'd like to paint my cannon balls to stop the charge they create.I know you can get rubber coated ones but figured i'd save a few bucks and paint the ones i've got.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but if you use a rubber snubber between your rigger line and your ball wouldn't that stop any charge?

i use a zinc cromate primer, then spray them with rubberized automotive rock guard, and it holds up, painted them last year and nothing has peeled

I use plasti-dip. You can find it at most hardware stores-a couple of coats and you are in business. Workes great and pretty inexpensive.
