mercruiser rebuild, what to spec?

looking at doing a rebuild on my 91 4.3L mercruiser

what sort of stuff should i specify for the rebuild?
roller rockers?
what compression pistons?
camshaft?

also considering intake and carb upgrades too

look on ebay as some of the guys do a whole kit for re -ringing and rebuilding with new piston's
don't forget new oil pump and timing chains/ sprockets
also a lot less hassle is the silver package from Michigan motors
and put on new headers and risers and a sea water pump if its cooled that way

also try KEM kodiak marine for a package quote

as i picked up a used kem 4.3 from a river jet boat had to do a few mods from C/list for $900

Buy new. a friend just bought a 3L new for 5grand taxes in, he told me the 4.3L was only a thousand more.

Mercruiser dealer in Nanaimo not sure of the name. Only bought the engine, installed in his driveway.
