Kokanee in the lower mainland?

With the winds up tomorrow, Im thinking of hitting a lake - any suggestions for kokanee fishing other than that lake in hope?

Alouette lake, they are on the small side around 10”... a big one almost 11”
Still fun on a 2wt fly rod.

Thanks, Its where I ended up.. went 3 for 11.. so hard to keep those little guys on. Any suggestions to keep them from flipping off?

There are options, Buntzen, Hicks, Chillwack Lake and of course Alouette.

Key to getting them in the boat is to use a long net and keep your rod tip low. Reel in and sweep your rod gently to steer them to your net.

Lifting up on the rod as they get close to the boat is going to account for a lot of lost fish.

Put an elastic band your lure and leader. They have very soft mouths.

Does anyone ever fish trebble hooks for them?
