Elk Lake Bass

Anyone now a good spot to fish for bass from the shore. Thinking of bobber/spin fishing with my kid. Don't really want to go to the fishing jetty, thinking more of a picnic spot.

Probally you best bet will be at the south end of Beaver Lake. There is actually a picnic area right next to the lake there.

There is a pretty good spot my bro took me to on the side of the lake with the public dock. Its about halfway down the lake, there is a tree or two in the water and a bench there too.

Lose the bobber. Use a long casting spinner bait or a crank bait. Topwater will rule in the summer months.

My son will be fishing the bobber, I have an assortment of crank baits and a mini-king spinner to try out. Cheers.
