The DNV Firefighters are hosting their annual Charity Fishing Derby on Friday September 21st. Tickets are now on sale at High Water Tackle in North Vancouver and are going fast.

Tide is ebbing until 10am, then a flood until 17:00. Does that mean more fishing at the Fraser instead of the Cap mouth?

Depending on the wind, I’d start the day at the Fraser and if it becomes too nasty, may move to west van/cap and fish with the flood.

it's listed in the rules, it's anywhere in areas 28 and 29 and you're allowed to fish either from Shore or from a boat

Their posted rules are not accurate therise?
Or are you just clarifying because the other areas are closed anyway.
You're also contradicting the rule that says it's open to shore fishing.

Yes, that web link is outdated. It’s from our original year back when tickets were $60.

Thanks for letting us know, and we will update the website with the current rules as soon as possible.
