2018 Alberni Inlet Reports

Where is Bell’s bay? I have fished the inlet in the past but don’t know that name.

It is across from mastusk creek or close to Franklin Wall. Hope it helps

Seen two fish landed this morning , The wall and Mactush, we had one of them, boats thinned out pretty quick
Tight lines.

Same as the report above... 5 hours of trolling and only saw 2 caught around the narrows

Almost hit a nasty dead head coming into the river this afternoon. Watch out for it right before the first piling.

Fished Sunday - Tuesday. Very slow lost 2 springs at Lone Tree on Sunday night and got sealed at Dunsmuir point on Monday on a nice spring and yesterday got sealed on a teenager spring at Lone Tree. Evenings were better than mornings. All action was on anchovies in blue pro cure. 30 feet was best depth. They had a commercial gill net on Sunday night and another FN gill net last night so I wouldn't expect much inside this week.
