that is kinda like saying manifolds and risers used in fresh water should never rust? personally i would not touch a inboard that does not have closed cooling, even if used in fresh water

I would hope one would do their due diligence first, but yes I have seen a few lake boats converted to closed systems without any problems.

my buddy vinyl wrapped his boat; came in a little hot one day and now has a big scrape in the vinyl. not a good look and as far as i can tell no real way to patch or fix it
