Need help IDing a lure

rusty swivel

New Member
Hey guys, so a friend of mine likes to go to pawn shops and search for old lures and sometimes finds great vintage boxes full of them. He gave me what looked like a streamer with a bill on it, which I assume would make it swim like a plug. I should have photo'd it before I removed the fur(it was bad) but here's what I'm left with. The little mushroom shape behind the bill would have flared the fur out giving it a big silhouette. Any idea what this is?

Not sure of the body but the bill is identical to - "Action Flashtail". As you said, basically imparts some action to a dead flashtail.

That's the one, thanks! I searched around and found that it's a Dave Barry Action Flashtail. I'm going to try to recreate it somewhat, and try it for rainbows this fall.
