Golden Trout there's still a few wilds around if you know where to look.
Like mountain lakes in Northern California. I had a buddy do a backpack hike into a lake there in the 1980s to catch a few. I understand they are a subspecies of the Rainbow Trout and when fresh in the wild, I was told they are perhaps the most attractive of all trout, just stunning. Older dead, faded ones In a cooler in Costco does not do them justice. I suspect they are being farmed somewhere.

Palomino , cross bred rainbows. Stocked in quite a few states.

Costco, farmed fish.
Look at the so called steelhead they sell, the fatty lines are just gross.
