WTB Spinning reel, Baitcasting, Heavier lake gear

Going on a serious lake fishing trip, (big pike, lake trout, walleye). Not a lake fisher usually, so looking for a few newer reels and rods, or tackle that may be well suited to laker, pike fishing. I would like some reasonably quality gear for it so it will be more enjoyable (just like how I'd rather fight a salmon with an Islander vs a daiwa m-1).
Would prefer spinning unless you have a nice modern baitcaster you'd like to part with.

PS: I am definitely going to be using a mooching reel for trolling giant lakers as well (might as well). However I still need a casting outfit for other species. Any recommendations are welcome.

I have a Abu Garica 6500 C3 that is lightly used (10-12 outings) collecting dust since I only use my pin and fly rods , if your interested I'd let it go for $85
