Hey guys,

Looking to seal the deal on a friends' dad's boat, but she exactly at my towing capacity. I knew I was "doomed" to buy it when my fiancee turned to me and said how much she liked the boat. 1995 Campion 185 with a 115/9.9 Yam 4 stroke. Towed it over the scale and it was 1600kg (with a full tank of fuel). So now I'm searching for weight saving measures - one of which is a trailer swap from the old galvanized to a new/new-ish aluminum to save a couple hundred pounds.

Anyone have anything? Brakes preferred, but they don't have to be working. Willing to travel up island.
