Will there be any fish left

WE were going to go to pt for the weekend but there is a 32hr opening for Seine and gill net ,will there be any fish left for the sporty?

Guess I should have been more specific (Port Alberni) commercial fishing till Friday morn at 6 am.

The nets won't catch them all. Many fish are too deep for the nets. Others see the nets and swim away in the daylight for obvious reasons and at night if the phosphorescent critters are being disturbed by the nets or gilled fish shaking around. 12 seines isn't many. There is a picture of an opening with over a 100 boats on here somewhere. I say give it a try.

Sockeyes still around in the inlet. I have caught them right up to end of August just after commerical openings. Best part for this time, sockeyes are bigger but swim very deep. [^]
