where to launch in victoria

looking for a place to launch in victoria or sooke to go for hali .i have fished port and nanaimo (too many seals in nanaimo)and winter harbor. I would apperiate the help thanx

You can launch from Cattle Point in the Uplands region of Victoria on Beach Drive. Free launch and lots of parking. I'm told their catching Halibut on the "Flats" between Discovery Island and Trial Island and South of Discovery (somewhere..., I can't find 'em yet). Good luck!
